“Versatile” -Laurel Graeber, The New York Times
“Arielle is a hoot” -Arielle’s mom
Born and bred in the suburban wilds of New Jersey, Arielle is a proud Latina singer, actor, and comedian who enjoys cooking, soap-making, and teaching her cat how to high-five. Perhaps her best-known role is her first: Fagan in her 6th grade Catholic School production of Oliver! After she stippled on that beard, Arielle knew this was the life for her. She would go on to make her NY debut at 17 in Love (Awkwardly) an original play partially based on her and her fellow students’ high school love lives. Love (Awkwardly) has now been produced all over the world…which means that Arielle’s awkward first kiss has been repeated in multiple languages…she talks about it in therapy.
Arielle went on to study at NYU Tisch where she was a student at Playwrights Horizons Theater School and the Experimental Theatre Wing. It was at NYU that Arielle’s love of new work really solidified, and it’s been a driving force of her career. Since graduating, she has been a part of the development process of several projects with groups like The Fled Collective, New Georges, The Flea, The Tank, BMI, and Atlantic Theater Company as well as various individual artists. Always amazed at the people she gets to work with, Arielle has had the pleasure of working alongside artists such as Rachel Chavkin, Melissa Crespo, Sam Pinkleton, Ani Taj, and Meghan Finn.
